Delmaine Potato Gnocchi



Technically not filled pasta, Gnocchi is actually rolled potato or pumpkin in a shaped form. Quick to cook and unique in flavour and texture, Gnocchi offers an alternative that can be used in the same way as any other pasta. Although slightly harder to cook, the resulting flavour and appearance makes Gnocchi a table pleaser.

  • Use Gnocchi as a 'potato top' for pies and stews.

  • Quick ideas; Bake gnocchi in a pasta sauce or with oils/butters and herbs and spices for a tasty potato side dish. After boiling gnocchi drain them and fry up with onions, bacon, prawns and chicken. Use cooked gnocchi as a topping for potato top pie.
  • Contains wheat and/or grain products containing gluten.


Drop the gnocchi into a pot containing 10-12 cups of boiling water. Keep on the boil until the gnocchi rise to the surface -about 1 minute, or for a maximum of 2 minutes. Drain, and serve hot immediately, with a Delmaine Fresh Pasta Sauce.

Canned beans should always be stored in cool cabinets away from appliances that produce heat. Dried beans should be stored in airtight containers and used within one year of purchase. The longer you keep the dry beans, the more moisture they lose. This means that older dry beans take longer to soak and cook compared to younger dry beans.
