La Costena Refried Pinto Beans


La Costena refried pinto beans are cooked and mildly spiced. Refried beans or frijoles refritos are dried beans cooked, mashed and then fried in lard or oil with various seasonings including onions, salt and pepper. Add the Mexican taste to your meals with La Costena Refried Pinto Beans. Ideal as a side dish for your beef, BBQ ribs, burritos, eggs and with anything you can imagine! All you have to do is heat and serve!

  • Contains no gluten ingredients but is manufactured in an environment where gluten may be present or is manufactured overseas.


Stovetop - Empty contents into a saucepan. Heat gently for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not allow to boil. Microwave (750W) - Empty contents into a non-metallic container, heat on full power for 2 minutes. Do not allow to boil. Stir and serve.

Canned beans should always be stored in cool cabinets away from appliances that produce heat. Dried beans should be stored in airtight containers and used within one year of purchase. The longer you keep the dry beans, the more moisture they lose. This means that older dry beans take longer to soak and cook compared to younger dry beans.
