Meatballs with Pomodoro Sauce

INGREDIENTS

500g lean mince

½ cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup milk (or for added richness light cream)

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

½ teaspoon cracked pepper

1 teaspoon mixed herbs

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 small brown onion finely diced

1 egg

1 325g pottle Delmaine Pomodoro Sauce

Olive oil for cooking

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients except sauce and oil together in a large bowl. Form into balls approx. 40-50mm around (should be about 20 balls in total). Roll balls in oil and place uncovered in a baking dish and cook at 180o for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and turn balls. Pour over Pomodoro sauce mixture and return to oven for a further 10 minutes. Serve with bread or fresh pasta.
